4021. Introduction to Linoleum Block Printing

In this class, you will learn the fundamental techniques of relief printing on linoleum blocks using water-soluble inks. Linoleum block is easy to cut and allows for a wide range of designs, from simple to complex. In this course, students will learn how to transfer images to the blocks, various carving techniques, and the printing process.

Corrie Beck
Corrie Beck is a multifaceted artist based in Winston-Salem, NC. Beck works across a variety of mediums including drawing, painting, print, textiles, and paper, producing abstract forms that experiment with pattern, color, and unique compositions. Beck has produced work as an editorial coordinator and model for local photographers and businesses, where her love of design, expression, + creative collaboration collide. She enjoys working with recycled and found materials most commonly used in her collage art and art-based wearables.
