In this class, students will delve into the fascinating world of block printing on textiles. They will start by exercising their creativity in designing intricate patterns and carving them onto rubber stamps. Once their unique stamps are ready, students will then get to experience the joy of printing their designs onto their own tea towels. Throughout the process, they will be encouraged to explore and experiment with different patterns and forms, allowing their creativity to flourish.

Corrie Beck is a multifaceted artist based in Winston-Salem, NC. Beck works across a variety of mediums including drawing, painting, print, textiles, and paper, producing abstract forms that experiment with pattern, color, and unique compositions. Beck has produced work as an editorial coordinator and model for local photographers and businesses, where her love of design, expression, + creative collaboration collide. She enjoys working with recycled and found materials most commonly used in her collage art and art-based wearables.
