A Day on the Farm, this photo walk will allow time for individualized learning about exposure, composition and other photographic topics based on the interests of the students. Photo subjects include a furnished farmhouse, barns and farm animals. The class will meet at Horne Creek Farm.

My photographic journey started about as long ago as I can remember with film and flashbulbs. I moved to a 35 mm SLR as I finished high school and documented my trip through college and graduate school. A broken camera meter led to many years of familiarity with a hand held light meter and exposure control. Most of my photography has been a record of my travels while doing research and teaching at Wake Forest, and in Europe, Russia, Kazakhstan, The Republic of Georgia, China and Japan. Along the journey, I have moved into the digital world and enjoy the image control it provides.
