Learn Best Practices of Letterpress to Include:

  • Setting Type
  • Inking
  • Cleaning the Letterpress and Type
  • Bumping up Lino and Woodcuts to Type-High
  • Printing with the Boxcar Letterpress Process
  • Tool Sharpening Techniques 

*Bring a linoleum block or woodcut to experiment with!

Terry Schupbach-Gordon is an artist, storyteller, puppeteer, co-director of Catbird Press, and advocate for disability issues. Working in printmaking, drawing, and artists’ books, Terry’s work is held in many public and private collections. She regularly gives collaborative workshops celebrating book arts, poetry, and literacy. She holds an MFA from Indiana University and currently lives and works in North Carolina.
