In the "Imaginative Landscapes" class, we will learn how to create our own unique and believable landscapes. By using various elements like trees, plants, structures, terrain, and backgrounds, we will learn how to compose our own worlds. The class will cover various drawing media, including watercolor and ink, to help us create realistic and stunning landscapes.

  • CLASS INFORMATION: 

    What to Wear: Art gets messy, so wear clothing suitable for an artist! It sometimes gets chilly in the studios, so an extra layer is recommended.

    What to Bring: Sawtooth will provide all materials and supplies needed for class. Students are welcome to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated and a snack to be eaten during a break.


    While parents and guardians are more than welcome to stay in the building, we kindly ask that you don't stay with your children during the class. We've found that this can sometimes hinder the creative process. 


    Parking: Lastly, metered parking is available on Marshall and Spruce Street and is free on evenings and weekends.

    Please note that face coverings are now optional on Sawtooth's campus, including in all studios. We ask that you remain respectful of all students and keep in mind that Sawtooth is an inclusive environment. We want everyone to feel supported, safe, and welcome on campus. They're available at our front desk if you need a disposable mask.
