Using papers, linen threads, and cover weight paper for covers, students will bind a blank journal using the French Stitch. This stitch looks elegant on the exposed spine of the book; and provides a strong and decorative binding.
Students will prepare their own covers, text blocks (book pages), and sew these together into a lovely journal for writing, drawing, or other creative endeavors.
