Build your skills in milling and dimensioning lumber while creating a classic end grain butcher block from the hardwood of your choice. Over the course of four weeks, you will mill your lumber at the jointer and planer, then cut perfectly uniform stock at the table saw, learn all the tips and tricks for a successful glue up, and then do it all again to create a gorgeous and durable end grain board. Add the final touch of a juice groove and any other embellishments you like. Beginners are welcome, but previous woodworking experience will be helpful. Material fees will be dependent on the wood selected.
