This glass Beadmaking class will elevate your beads to the next level. If you’ve got a firm foundation in creating round beads, using COE 104 glass you’ll add intermediate-level techniques to your set of skills. Possible topics include dichroic inclusions, bead lining, shapes using molds and presses, hollow embellished beads and more. Repeat students may practice more advanced surface effects and shaped beads. Soft glass COE 104 is used in the beadmaking classes. Please bring your favorite variety of both opaque and transparent 104 rods. Other optional materials discussed in class. This section is open to ages 18+.

Wilson, Jeff

Jeff Wilson is a self-taught artist specializing in all forms of glass arts including glassblowing and lampworking, glass beadmaking, glass fusing and slumping, and stained glass. He has been the featured glass artist at the Carolina Classic Fair in Winston-Salem for over a decade and has taught for the Sawtooth School for more than 15 years.
