In this exciting class, we will delve into the fascinating world of mixed media and collage techniques. Our exploration will include creating visually stunning and textured pieces using a variety of materials such as paper, fabric, and found objects.

We will learn how to skillfully combine images and experiment with different methods of layering to produce unique and captivating works of art. Additionally, we will foster our creativity by thinking outside the box and discovering inventive ways to transform everyday items into something extraordinary.

    WATER We recommend bringing a refillable water bottle from home. Creating art makes you thirsty!

    SNACK Students are welcome to bring a snack to be eaten during our daily break times. Health + Food Allergy Notice: For the safety of others, students cannot share food. We ask for parents and guardians to be mindful of other children who may have potentially life-threatening allergies. To reduce this risk, please do not bring foods with peanuts and tree nuts.

    LUNCH If your child is attending both AM and PM camps, they will be supervised during a lunch and break period. Students must bring their lunch from home. This option is available only to students attending AM and PM camps in a week.

    ART SUPPLIES Sawtooth will provide all materials and supplies needed for camp. They may be asked to bring certain recycled materials from home, but this is not a requirement. 
Santis, Liz

Liz earned her BM in Percussion from UNC School of the Arts in 2017. Throughout her life, she has explored a variety of arts such as painting, sculpture, and most recently, crochet and fashion design. Her passion for fiber arts stems from a deep interest in materializing fine art pieces and functional, sustainable fashion using fibers and a crochet hook.
