A Renaissance inspired workshop that will teach the basic concepts of classical drawing and painting techniques. We will have three days to go over drawing in graphite, charcoal, and conte as well as lessons in color theory and painting techniques.

Art history is a fun and important part of learning how to create art. We will discuss some of the most famous artists from the Renaissance and how their artwork inspires the different genres of art today.

This will be a hands-on class as we will be drawing and painting various still-life and portraiture. Our goal is to learn and have fun with art and history.
