Few photographers are more well known than Annie Leibovitz. More than a decade ago, the Library of Congress declared her a ‘Living Legend’. From fine art exhibitions to ad campaigns for Fortune 500 companies her work is diverse but always dramatic, emotionally arresting, and visually engaging. In this 2-week class we will direct and reverse engineer her work with musicians (Ella Fitzgerald, Willie Nelson, Miles Davis, and Yoko Ono w/ John Lennon) and then via homework, create our own Leibovitz like image.
