Sawtooth School for Visual Arts and Catbird on the Yadkin Press invite you to Celebrate Public Domain Day 2023! Good Impressions: Readings from the Press Bed returns for the first reading of the year with Megan Mulder, Special Collections Librarian at Wake Forrest University and Tim Jeffers who will read from The Weary Blues by Langston Hughes. 

At the end of the evening you will crank the press and leave with your own handprinted hand signed broadside.

Terry Schupbach-Gordon is an artist, storyteller, puppeteer, co-director of Catbird Press, and advocate for disability issues. Working in printmaking, drawing, and artists’ books, Terry’s work is held in many public and private collections. She regularly gives collaborative workshops celebrating book arts, poetry, and literacy. She holds an MFA from Indiana University and currently lives and works in North Carolina.
