Learn the basics of cabinetry while building a small wall hanging cabinet, the perfect place to store small treasures and necessities. From constructing the case, to building a classic frame and panel door, there are many techniques to explore. The project will focus on the use of the table saw and router table to create sliding dovetail and tongue in groove joinery, as well as a decorative moulding to accent the finished cabinet. Students can expect to leave class with their cabinet and a French cleat for easy hanging. Prior woodworking experience will be necessary.
