Explore ceramics and build on improving your skills in hand-building while having fun in this week-long class! Create a new project each day, expanding your creativity each day. Students will learn to pinch, coil, and slab techniques. Projects will dry throughout the week and be glazed and fired. They will be ready for pick up in the weeks following the class.

Katie holds a BFA in Art & Design from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University, with a concentration in Ceramic Art, as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching from the Rhode Island School of Design. For the past 9 years she has been teaching in the public schools and in the community at the Sawtooth and Reynolda House. She is currently the Art teacher at St. Leo Catholic School, preK - 8th grades. She enjoys working on her pottery in her home studio, and spending time with her little family; husband, Jack, daughter, Harper, and rescue dog, Diego.
