Reynolda Village offers a variety of photo subjects. This class will focus on the interests of the students in developing their understanding and skills of photography with either DSLR or mirrorless cameras.  Phone cameras are also welcome.  Topics of composition and camera usage will be emphasized.  Bring questions!

Please note this class will meet off site at Reynolda Gardens.

My photographic journey started about as long ago as I can remember with film and flashbulbs. I moved to a 35 mm SLR as I finished high school and documented my trip through college and graduate school. A broken camera meter led to many years of familiarity with a hand held light meter and exposure control. Most of my photography has been a record of my travels while doing research and teaching at Wake Forest, and in Europe, Russia, Kazakhstan, The Republic of Georgia, China and Japan. Along the journey, I have moved into the digital world and enjoy the image control it provides.
