From mountain scenes to seascapes, this four-week class will guide you through
creating beautiful landscapes using acrylic paint! We will discuss color mixing, shapes, and
value to create fun and engaging landscapes. These art elements will be explored through
exercises and activities, and students will be able to paint several landscapes, as well.
During the first two weeks of class there will be a teacher-led landscape project. The last two
weeks students will paint their own landscapes and are encouraged to bring in their own
high-quality reference photos to work from.
