Expand the capabilities of your woodworking in this intensive workshop all about routers! Learn about different types of handheld routers, bits and safety. Follow up with a discussion of the router table and its many uses. Students can expect to get hands on experience with different processes and techniques such as routing grooves (dados), edge treatments, mouldings and making tenons.

  • A $10 materials fee will be added to the total class fee at checkout
  • Registration will close one week prior to the start of class
  • Enrollment is open to students ages 18 and up

Hollis, Tom

Tom Hollis is a biochemist at Wake Forest School of Medicine. He has been making contemporary and period furniture for almost 30 years. Tom has been trained by Lonnie Bird and self-taught.
