Making monoprints is an easy way to learn the first steps to the Printmaking process. Stencils, plant materials, and commonly found objects are used to make one of a kind prints. These prints can be produced either by hand or by using a press. Water based, non-toxic Akua Inks are used. They are slow drying and easy to clean up with dish soap and water.
In this workshop, being prior to Valentine's Day, we will explore the theme "Love." Students will produce many unique prints for keepsakes and gift giving.
