This course introduces the most fundamental controls on your digital camera. Learn in class and through take-home assignments about exposure, ISO, shutter speed, aperture, and composition essentials. Discuss how to upload your images to a computer and basic file storage. Spend half the class in lecture and half the class photographing and practicing techniques. This course is for anyone who has used their camera but still needs help getting better images and understanding camera functions. It is designed for cameras that have the ability to adjust aperture and shutter speed. Ages: 13 - Adult

  • Because cameras differ in their operation and interface, it is essential for students to bring their user manual with the camera to each class.
