Learn the art of hand cut dovetails while building a classic two step Shaker stool. Practice the essential skills of wood joinery: measuring, marking, sawing to your line, and chiseling joints clean. The class will include some lessons on using a few machines but will focus mainly on the use of hand tools. With time to work on joinery and plenty of practice, you'll be confidently cutting one of the strongest (and best looking!) joints in woodworking. All skill levels are welcome.
