Take your digital art to the next level. Building upon the principles of Intro to Digital Art students will learn more advanced and detailed methods for creating truly unique, one of kind art pieces. In addition to creating the art work, emphasis will be placed upon printing methods and median(including wearable art) to best display your creations. This workshop is intended for intermediate to advanced students who understand digital collages, layers, and drawing tools. Students are encouraged to bring their own photos and/or original artwork as a starting point for their collage. Students will leave the 3-week workshop with a finished piece to share online or print at home. All classes will be held in person at Sawtooth School. Ages: 15-Adult

Thore, Kim

Kim Thore is a writer, artist and cultural commentator ...she began studying drawing at the age of 8 and continued through college culminating in a portfolio of mixed media and sculpture. She is proud that she also studied photography and painting at Sawtooth when she was a teenager. 

She began using digital collage as her primary medium in 2014 launching a new website www.kimtasticart.com in 2017 and also a line of clothing and home decor featuring her art . 

Using multiple layers, programs and design techniques her pieces explore glamour, fashion, and other chimera. She has exhibited locally in W-S, Raleigh and Miami and her work is in collections in Europe and the United States.She has also built her own Marketing Firm, FRESH Productions that focused on marketing for artists and creatives and ran it for 10 years here in the Triad. She is currently freelances as a marketer and public relations director for several local businesses.
