Become the master of your own hand plane in this one-night workshop covering set up, sharpening, adjustments and uses of this classic woodworking tool. Whether want to get more familiar with the hand planes you already have or are trying to figure out which one is the right one for your shop, you'll get plenty of info and hands on practice. Class will focus on the use of the hand planes available at Sawtooth, and students are encouraged to bring in planes from home.

  • Enrollment is limited to ages 16 and up

Hollis, Tom

Tom Hollis is a biochemist at Wake Forest School of Medicine. He has been making contemporary and period furniture for almost 30 years. Tom has been trained by Lonnie Bird and self-taught.
