There is a direct relationship between the sharpness of your tools and the quality of your work. Learn how to use the wolverine system for low-speed grinders and the wet wheel Tormek system to sharpen gouges, parting tools, skews, and scrapers. This class will provide plenty of hands-on sharpening practice as well as discussions of different grinds and bevel angles, and how they are used for different types of turning. Students are welcomed to bring in their own tools.

Additional Information:

  • This class is open to students ages 18 and up.
  • A $5 Consumables fee will be applied at check-out to cover wear on grinding wheels and studio upkeep
