Spend a fun couple of hours learning something new, meeting friends, and create a lovely piece of art to take home! Create your own block printed fabric project! We'll start by designing and carving blocks, then exploring different possbilities for patterns, compositions, and color mixing. You'll leave with a block printed tote and a length of printed fabric. This technique is perfect for designing your own fabric projects or upcycling and mending old clothes! We take a max of 6 students in the class, and the course is open to ages 14 through adult. Masks and social distancing are required in this and all Sawtooth classes. Ages: 13 - Adult

Beck, Corrie

Corrie Beck is a multifaceted artist based in Winston-Salem, NC. Beck works across a variety of mediums including drawing, painting, print, textiles, and paper, producing abstract forms that experiment with pattern, color, and unique compositions. Beck has produced work as an editorial coordinator and model for local photographers and businesses, where her love of design, expression, + creative collaboration collide. She enjoys working with recycled and found materials most commonly used in her collage art and art-based wearables.
