Learn and practice the fundamental skills of spindle turning by cranking out a few spinning tops. Turn these fun little toys while concentrating on spindle grain turning techniques. We will cover sharpening, cutting end grain cleanly, turning thin parts, and end grain hollowing for a French style finger top. Some experience is helpful but not necessary. This class will prepare you to tackle candlesticks, boxes, finials and more with confidence.

  • A $15 materials fee is due to the instructor upon the start of class.
  • Registration will close one week prior to the start of class.
  • This class is open to students ages 18 and up.
