Try a new challenge in woodturning in this hands-on workshop where you'll turn, finish, and take home a lightweight, hollow ornament. This fun and slightly tricky project will get you trying something new and challenging at the lathe, and introduce you to a fun method for creating fantastic and eye catching ornaments! Some Woodturning experience will be helpful.

Additional Information:
  • A $15 materials fee will be added to the total class fee at checkout
  • Registration will close on the Tuesday preceding the start of class to allow adequate time for material sourcing
  • This class is open to students ages 18 and up.

Earley, Crystal

Crystal is a third generation woodworker as well as a stained glass artist, beekeeper and rock collector. Eyes either down looking for rocks, or up looking at trees, Crystal has zero sense of direction, but a keen eye for nature and its endless beauty. Whether making a complete mess or turning a stunning bowl, Crystal is happiest in her shop covered in sawdust and surrounded by woodchips.
