Our Taste of Art Workshops welcome all skill levels to the wood studio for a series of projects that you can make and take home with you that very evening. Tonight's project: Wood Whistles! Learn to use hand saws, drills and planes to create delightful handmade whistles with traditional woodworking tools. No experience necessary. 

Additional Information:

  • This class is open to students ages 12 and up with an accompanying adult.

Wilson, Christopher

Christopher Wilson is a traditional hand tool woodworking enthusiast, furniture maker, and luthier. He holds a BS from Clemson University in Mechanical Engineering and currently works as a researcher in the Aerospace Engineering field. Christopher has a workshop at his home where he runs a small business making acoustic guitars and handmade wood furniture. Christopher is originally from the mountains of Western North Carolina and he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, playing music, hiking, and Judo.
