Gelli plate printing is the perfect way to explore improvisation. An unanticipated image opens the door to intuition and chance. One movement leads to the next, and image making becomes a dance. In this workshop, we will use objects, stencils, and mark making to explore ways to make images using the highly flexible and responsive medium of gelatin. We’ll also explore how the images we make can work together to create a kind of visual narrative.
