Preserve your family photo history. Learn the art of making old, faded, and torn images new and vibrant by our Intro to Digital Photo Restoration. Students are encouraged to bring in their own damaged family photos and learn the fundamental process of restoration from start to finish and, ultimately, completing a transformation to be cherished for generations to come. Using either your own laptop or Sawtooth's Apple computers, Dave WasserBoehr will guide students through the exciting process, tools, and skills required to produce a basic but high quality restoration.

  • Basic Computer skills and an entry level understanding of Photoshop are ideal but not required. We encourage students to work from their own laptop but if you do not have access to one an 'in class' computer will be provided. This course comes with a free 3 Month subscription to the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of APPS. i.e. Photoshop, LightRoom, Illustrator, Premiere, and more.
