In this fun one-day workshop, create a three-dimensional stained glass dragonfly or butterfly. These two unique projects are perfect for beginners and great fun for those with some stained glass experience also. Learn to transfer your design to the glass and use a simple glass cutter to create the pieces. Then continue while you learn all the steps using the copper foil method of stained glass to create your own keepsake or two. Materials are included! We’ll take a short lunch break, so bring a bag lunch or snacks. Masks are required in this and all Sawtooth classes. (Age 16+)

Wilson, Jeff

Jeff Wilson is a self-taught artist specializing in all forms of glass arts including glassblowing and lampworking, glass beadmaking, glass fusing and slumping, and stained glass. He has been the featured glass artist at the Carolina Classic Fair in Winston-Salem for over a decade and has taught for the Sawtooth School for more than 15 years.
