Prerequisite: Beginning & Intermediate Beadmaking or equivalent experience. Learn to create beautiful Pandora-style or Chamelia-style lined glass beads designed by you and created for a fraction of the cost! Explore the proper lampworking techniques and procedures associated with these beautiful large-hole jewelry beads. Then learn how to make the metal lining and insert it in your bead using our state-of-the-art bead press. You can create beads lined in silver, brass, or copper. The first several weeks you'll create beads eligible for lining. After they are annealed learn to use the bead press to line several beads. Glass is provided, students will purchase their choice of lining material, discussed in class. Experienced beadmakers only.

Jeff Wilson is a self-taught artist specializing in all forms of glass arts including glassblowing and lampworking, glass beadmaking, glass fusing and slumping, and stained glass. He has been the featured glass artist at the Carolina Classic Fair in Winston-Salem for over a decade and has taught for the Sawtooth School for more than 15 years.
