This class is for those wishing to understand and improve their digital workflow using Adobe Lightroom. Whether a hobbyist or professional photographer, a smooth, organized workflow is essential in the effective management and editing of a photographic library of images. This 3-week class covers the complete workflow, beginning with organizing, collecting and placing image files into a primary folder location; importing; performing general basic image editing using Adobe Lightroom; and finally exporting and optimizing images for output, be it further editing in Photoshop, printing, or the web.

  • Students should be familiar with their camera’s MENU set-up and are encouraged to bring their own laptops to class to eliminate having to transfer files between home vs. school computers.
