During 12 class hours spread over two weeks , students will learn how to weave their own kitchen towels. They will learn how to plan a weaving project, and read a simple weaving draft. After designing their own towels and measuring the yarn for it, students will be taught how to warp a loom using the "front to back" method. After weaving their, towels they will learn a variety of finishing techniques including hemstitching, knotting and twisting fringe. No previous experience is necessary, and all materials are provided.
