Come experience the woodturning studio and turn a rolling pin of your very own. After rounding out your rolling pin on the lathe, layout and carve a textured pattern on it. Learn how to use dremels, turning tools, and carving gouges to decorate the surface. This is a fun, simple introduction to the lathe where you’ll create a useful tool for the clay studio, or even just the kitchen. The instructor will provide a kit of parts, and some tools to use for layout and carving. No turning experience necessary. The class is open to students ages 18 and up. Masks and social distancing are required in this and all Sawtooth classes.

Materials: A $5 materials fee is due to instructor on the start of class.
