Many photographers believe the most difficult topic to photograph is the world immediately outside of their door. In other words, the everyday and expected can be easily overlooked. 400 Footsteps is a personal photographic journey with self imposed restrictions. In this class we dive head first into seeing anew and creating a cohesive 10 image portfolio of dynamic images created no more than 400 footsteps outside of your door. This 4 week class will begin with a photowalk near Sawtooth to illustrate techniques to building a 400 Steps portfolio and continue with weekly Zoom portfolio challenges, reviews, critique, and mentorship. This class is open to all students who have a firm understanding of their photographic tool. SLR, Mirrorless, SmartPhone, large format, etc...
