Ceramics: Clay Sculpture-
Create clay sculptures using various handbuilding methods including coil and slab building. Become familiar with clay tools and techniques as you get your hands dirty this week! Learn how clay has functioned in the past and consider its function in art today!

Wooten, Katie

Katie holds a BFA in Art & Design from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University, with a concentration in Ceramic Art, as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching from the Rhode Island School of Design. For the past 9 years she has been teaching in the public schools and in the community at the Sawtooth and Reynolda House. She is currently the Art teacher at St. Leo Catholic School, preK - 8th grades. She enjoys working on her pottery in her home studio, and spending time with her little family; husband, Jack, daughter, Harper, and rescue dog, Diego.
