Discover the possibilities of glass as an art medium. Explore glass in art history from mosaics to stained glass and learn how artists today are breaking the glass ceiling with their art creations. Study methods of making glass art like fused, blown, and stained. Take inspiration from the past or even nature and create a piece of your own stained-glass art!

Pettinati-Longinotti, Betti

Betti Pettinati-Longinotti works in drawing, painting and glass- fused, mosaic and stained glass. She received a BFA from the Maryland Institute, College of Art and her MA from the University of the Arts/ Philadelphia, in Art Education with a studio major in Glass. She graduated, June 2012 with an MFA in Visual Arts through the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University. Her work has been shown internationally. Betti is a juried member of Artworks Gallery and Piedmont Craftsmen, and also holds membership in the American Glass Guild.
