Without a doubt, learning darkroom techniques is one of the best ways to improve your photography skills and create a photographic legacy for your family. Create images that come to life right in front of your eyes! Whether you are a beginner, old pro, or looking to reconnect with your darkroom roots, this class is for you. Become familiar with darkroom equipment and processes and print from your own black and white negatives. Class includes use of the darkroom during the class duration.

  • This class will not meet on 3/16
  • Film SLR cameras required. If you do not have a film camera, you may borrow one of ours. Please note that our darkroom is set up exclusively for black and white photography.
Dulaney, Dave

Photography is Dave's passion in life, and he feels lucky enough to have found it early. Dave's dad worked for Kodak in Tennessee and he spent much of his teens in the company's darkroom. He has worked for 30 years in the related fields of graphics, pre-press work and printing. And after 30 years went back to school to pursue photography full time. He is now an integral part of Sawtooth as a teacher and assistant director of photography. His favorite pastime -- black and white portrait photography. After all these years, it's what he does best.
