Explore your surroundings for beautiful-to-you, interesting objects and plants that we will make into dreamy blue and white prints!

Cyanotype is a photosynthetic photographic printing process - all we need are paper, subject, chemistry, sunlight and water to compose, expose and develop our prints.

This process can be meditative, and we encourage you to begin gathering what you notice on your walks around the neighborhood, and any meaningful or interesting objects you may find around home. Whatever you find will be memorialized in these lovely handmade works of art that you can share as gifts or hang on your walls.

$15 supply fee due at time of registration.

The class is open to students ages 14 and up.

Badgett, Amy

Amy Badgett is a film photographer and alternative processing enthusiast. She is passionate about slow, hands-on photographic and print-making processes as well as collaborative projects. When she's not experimenting in the darkroom or making double exposures with her friends, you can find Amy working in her garden or swimming laps at the pool.
