938 Shaker 2-step stool
This class introduces the beginning woodworker to essential hand and power tool techniques used in the wood studio. Gain confidence while learning shop safety, fundamental joinery techniques, finishing, and more. Class project will be a classic Shaker 2-step stool. The class is open to students ages 16 and up. Masks and social distancing are required in this and all Sawtooth classes.

Materials: A $60 materials fee is due to instructor on first day of class.

Hollis, Tom

Tom Hollis is a biochemist at Wake Forest School of Medicine. He has been making contemporary and period furniture for almost 30 years. Tom has been trained by Lonnie Bird and self-taught.
