Using an eco-print as your background, you’ll embellish that base with gel skins, dried botanicals, vintage lace, hand-stitching, a bit of plaster, paint, or whatever else you choose. You’ll create several unique mixed media pieces in this workshop. Experience with hand-stitching is not required.

Available for students ages teen through adult. Masks and social distancing are required in this and all Sawtooth classes.

Pape, Patty

Patty spent her work career in the telecommunications world, retiring a few years ago as an executive from a multinational corporation. She started taking drawing, painting, and photography classes at Sawtooth, and quickly became immersed in mixed media. Patty has an obsession with paper, paste, and art supplies which she now uses to focus primarily on acrylic painting, collage, and art journaling.
