Learn the similar fundamental approaches two artists take to achieve different ends in this demonstration workshop. Count on discussions on prototyping and where new forms come from.

Jason Hartose and Matt Repsher investigate what questions to ask of a form to find out if it works. An emphasis will be given to wheel thrown pots and those which are modified after they are thrown. They will also do some work off the wheel including hand building and some hump mould work. Particular attention will be given to surface treatment and the process of choosing the right materials to communicate your intentions.
