In this two-day workshop, learn to cut and properly glue angled wood segments into various forms to be turned on the lathe. Please note: This is not a beginner’s class & students should have knowledge of turning the interior and exterior of bowls. Materials: A $25 materials fee is due to instructor on first day of class.

Reese, Daniel

Daniel J. Reese is a professional woodturner. He creates custom pieces and participates in craft fairs with his business, NC Custom Creations. He has won online woodturning competitions and is also an active member of the American Association of Woodturners.His unique hand-eye coordination and focus on details has earned him a following in the online communities for his wood and resin pieces. Dan blazes the trail with hybrid resin and wood designs, processes, and techniques. His experience as a former restaurant district manager has provided him considerable skills training and instructing others. Dan is thrilled to be sharing his woodworking knowledge and experience with Sawtooth and our local community.
