In this class we’ll explore the captivating world of crackle enamel to produce swirls, cells, and fascinating patterns that often resemble rare stones. But that’s not all -- next you’ll learn how to create a sophisticated prong setting for your enamel “cabochon.” Combining the art of enameling with the skills of silversmithing, this exciting class will surely spark your creativity to produce a one of a kind statement piece you will be proud to wear. A kit fee of $60 will be collected during the workshop and includes all materials and supplies.

Mason, Scott

Scott Mason has a passion for sharing his craft with students with all shades of experience. From the barest beginner to the savvy metalworker, he loves to pass on his knowledge of the art of jewelry making, as well as a multitude of guidelines and tips hones through his years of teaching and making. After 30 years living and working in the Boston area, Scott has recently moved to North Carolina where he continues to share and evolve his love of all things jewelry making.

Flora, Phyllis

Phyllis Flora has been making jewelry since 2000, and is primarily self-taught. Nearly twenty years ago, she chucked a life of crime (as a criminal defense attorney, that is), to pursue jewelry design and teaching full time. She developed and taught hundreds of classes at her bead store just outside Boston, and subsequently at her metalworking studio, pflora metal arts. She has recently relocated to North Carolina where she continues to pursue her jewelry design and is developing a curriculum of online classes. Phyllis delights when students run with the techniques they learn in class and go on to develope their own designs and techniques.
