Schedule: Friday, 12/13, 6:00-8:30pm and Saturday, 12/14, 10:00am-3:00pm

Students will learn how to paint by observation just like in a traditional drawing or painting class, except it is all digital (so no clean up!) By the end of the session students will have a basic knowledge of how to navigate Adobe Photoshop, use a display tablet like a canvas, use keyboard shortcuts to maximize efficiency, and build a realistic painting from multiple digital layers of pixels.?There are no supplies needed except the willingness to learn a new medium and accepting the frustration that comes along with learning something new. It’s easier than it looks!

Ashley Scott is a graduate from ECU with a bachelor’s degree in Animation/Interactive Design. She enjoys making digital and traditional art, including digital painting and printmaking. She is currently seeking a second degree in painting from UNCG. She also loves K-Pop and 90’s Hip-Hop and R&B.
