Learn step-by-step how to operate your camera! In this 3-hour workshop we will learn how to adjust the basic settings of your camera to get you on your way to start photographing and stop feeling intimidated. This beginners class is recommended for those who have limited to-no knowledge of how to operate their digital cameras. This is a great class to take before taking Digital Photography I.

My photographic journey started about as long ago as I can remember with film and flashbulbs. I moved to a 35 mm SLR as I finished high school and documented my trip through college and graduate school. A broken camera meter led to many years of familiarity with a hand held light meter and exposure control. Most of my photography has been a record of my travels while doing research and teaching at Wake Forest, and in Europe, Russia, Kazakhstan, The Republic of Georgia, China and Japan. Along the journey, I have moved into the digital world and enjoy the image control it provides.
