In this class, students will explore narrative illustration through discussing visual literacy and learning what it takes to tell a story through a single image. By distilling the core elements of a story, an illustrator can convey tons of information while being clever at the same time, like fitting all the puzzle pieces together. Students will strengthen their drawing skills and ability to communicate through their art as they use line, shading, and recognizable imagery to tell a story!
