Spend a fun couple of hours learning how to throw clay on the pottery wheel. Pieces will be bisque fired, glazed in the students color choice, and fired again for pickup 4-6 weeks later.
Ages: 18 - Adult

  • Students are welcome to bring a beverage, bottle of wine, and/or snacks to these laid-back classes.
  • Please register yourself and your partner individually.
  • Clay, glazes, and firing included in the class fee.

As a long time resident of North Carolina, I have discovered the art of expression through pottery. I became a pottery instructor at Sawtooth to share this passion with others after starting my own exploration in 2006 as an adult student in a weekly class at a local art gallery in South Carolina. Today, I continue to share and grow with others through education, and work I produce at my home studio.

Campbell, Dodie

Dodie graduated with a BFA in ceramics from Utah State University and an MFA in ceramics from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She has been teaching beginning and advanced wheelthrowing at Sawtooth since 2006. When not running or driving her kids around town, you may find her in the studio stamping, carving, or drawing on the surface of her pots.
