Enjoy the fun of raku firing with its lively colors, crackled glazes, metallic finishes and rich black clay surfaces. Experience the immediate gratification of pulling your red hot pieces out of the kiln and seeing the finished glaze results in fifteen minutes. Experiment with numerous glazing options. (Ages 18+)

  • Adult Registrations Only (18+)
  • Firing space is limited. You may bring 3 bisque fired pieces no taller than 10" and no wider than 6"
  • Workshop is held at an off campus location.
  • Glazes and firing included in class fee.
Moyer, Warren

Warren received his BS degree in art education from Kutztown University and his MFA in ceramics from Ohio University. Upon completing grad school, he assumed the position of director of the ceramic program at Sawtooth in 1989. As a member of Piedmont Craftsmen, his primary focus is handbuilt vessels which he creates in his home studio.
