Develop and refine your throwing skills and expand your range of forms through individual projects. Demonstrations will include more complex forms and advanced techniques in throwing and glazing. Designed for experienced students who have mastered basic centering and pulling techniques.
Ages: 13 - Adult

  • Open studio hours are available during which time students can work in addition to their scheduled class hours.
  • 25 pounds of clay plus accompanying glazes and firing included in the class fee

I LOVE CLAY! My work is mainly functional (plus a little funky). I had no idea that my 1985 Beginning Wheelthrowing class at Sawtooth would lead to the life of a full-time potter filled with clay and joy. My pots especially like texture, stamping and slip decoration.
